Danielle Brien

Danielle also achieved her ISTD (Imperial Society Teachers of Dance) DDI teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern, which is when she discovered her true passion; teaching and choreographing.

Her career as a Dance Teacher began in 2016. During this time, Danielle has had the opportunity to choreograph for many shows, festivals and competitions whilst working for a variety of Dance Schools and Boarding Schools in Gloucestershire and Wilthsire, teaching both the ISTD and RAD syllabus. She also had the privilege of working briefly alongside the Paralympic swimmers who were training for Rio 2016, teaching basic ballet technique and aerobic movements to help them improve their coordination and mobility.

Danielle opened Just Move Dance Studio in April 2019, offering classes for both students and adults following the ISTD syllabus. Once completing her DDE qualifications, she has now graduated from the ISTD as an Associate for one of the ‘worlds leading dance examination boards.’ Danielle has recently taken her Licentiate Imperial Classical Ballet examination with the ISTD and has successfully passed and has also completed her AcroDance Pre School course with Acrobatic Arts and is now qualified to deliver this curriculum to dancers.

Ciara Lambert

Ciara grew up in Jersey and was a competitive gymnast for 7 years. During this time, she represented Jersey in the 2009 Island Games in Aland, and the 2010 Jeux Des Isles in the Azores. Ciara went on to become a qualified gymnastics coach and taught in Jersey for 10 years. She also ran the Dance Acro Programme at De Mond Gymnastics Academy. Since coaching gymnastics, Ciara has been teaching various acrobatic classes at studios in Jersey that focus on improving dancers flexibility, strength and tumbling skills. Ciara teachers our Acro and Tumble classes.

Alicia Parker

Alicia began her dance career at Carousel School of Dancing at the age of 2.5years. At the age of eighteen she continued her training at The Northern Ballet School, Manchester where she completed a three year teaching Diploma and successfully passed her teaching exams with the Royal Academy of Dancing, Ballet and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance in Ballet, Tap, Modern and National.

Following her Graduation, Alicia taught at The Hammond School, Chester for a year before returning to Jersey. Alicia created a Dance scheme of work that was implemented within a local academic school as well as teaching at the Carousel School of Dancing. Studio16 was established in 2016 when Alicia Parker became Principal.

Throughout her teaching career Alicia has continued her professional development and is now an affiliated teacher of DDMIX programme founded by Darcey Bussell, Acrobatic Arts, Progressing Ballet Technique, Alixa Flexibility and RAD Silver Swan.

Throughout the years Alicia has coached and entered students for exams, competitions as well as producing shows . After moving onto pastures new, Alicia stopped teaching in March 2022, however, having realised how much she missed it she has decided to return and is looking forward to continue her teaching at Just Move.
