Just Move Hits 100!

Just Move celebrated its 2nd birthday back in April and on this date (23rd April) we had hit our 100 student mark!! Now in May, we have over 100 students, with the school continuing to grow at a fast pace, enabling us to add additional classes to our timetable.

Jersey Dance Awards!

We have had such a busy month preparing for the Jersey Dance Awards! This was the schools first dance competition, with 10 of our students entering. Our students competed in a variety of solo sections which included, Ballet, Modern & Jazz. The students performed beautifully on the day and I couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them!

One of our students was awarded third place in the ‘first time ballet section’ with her solo, ‘twilight lullaby’, and our Jazz entry, ‘it’s party time’ placed 4th. Our fabulous student, Freya was awarded a gold medal with her solo, ‘Shine’, placing first in her section. We were delighted to be invited to the gala evening with this dance, where Freya performed her solo for a second time! A BIG well done to our beautiful ballet soloists & our fabulous Modern students, we are all looking forward to our next competition in June with CI Dance Company!

Acro Classes

Our Acro lessons are a great hit, with our Mini Acro class full from the first session!! The girls absolutely love being taught by our new teacher, Miss Paris and it is great to see how well they have been progressing in these classes. We have a few spaces left in our Junior Acro Class, 9+ years which is 6:15-7pm on Friday evenings.
