Happy New Year to all of our students & families at Just Move Dance Studio!

We are now well into our spring term, time does fly when you are having fun. We have lots of exciting things planned for this year, and we are sure you will be just as excited as we are!

Our competition team are very excited to be taking part in a variety of local competitions this year, our first being the Jersey Eisteddfod in February! Rehearsals are underway and we have a variety of new dances and new students taking part this year. If you would like to be apart of our 2022 competition team, you must be taking at least two dance classes per week.

We have exciting plans for our premises in St Mary’s this year. We are currently working on giving the hall a bit of a makeover and transforming it into a dance studio for the students. Floor length mirrors, built in barres and dance flooring will fitted in the hall this year and we now have a changing/waiting room available for all students to enter before their class commences.

In May, we have our very first school show! With covid, we have been unable to offer watching weeks for our parents, therefore we have made the decision to create a showcase of dance where parents will be able to come along and see what all of our students have been working on over the last term. This will be held at Les Quennevais School in the theatre on Sunday 22nd May.

In December, we had a selection of students who took their ISTD ballet exams. We are pleased to announce that we had an 100% pass rate! Well done to all of the girls that were involved, your commitment and dedication shone through!
